Product Notice: Ichiro Classic Line to Be Discontinued

Scissor Lab wishes to advise its distribution partners that the Ichiro Classic Line — comprising the Classic 55, Classic 60, Classic 65, and Classic Thinning — will be discontinued as of the end of 2017.

Remaining stock across all Classic Line models will continue to be available through authorised distributors while supplies last. Partners wishing to place final orders for Classic Line stock are encouraged to do so before the end of the third quarter.

Reason for Discontinuation

This decision reflects a broader consolidation of the Ichiro range. When the Classic Line was introduced at launch in 2010, it filled an important role as an accessible entry point into the Ichiro brand. Over time, the Ichiro S-Series — introduced in 2013 — has matured into a well-regarded mid-range professional line that now addresses the same market segment with improved specifications: VG10 steel, offset handles, and a refined convex edge.

Maintaining both lines in parallel no longer serves our partners or their customers effectively. The Classic Line will conclude its run with dignity — it has been a reliable tool for many stylists over the years, and we are grateful for the role it has played in establishing the Ichiro name in the market.
