Product Notice: Ichiro S-Series to Be Discontinued

Scissor Lab wishes to inform its distribution partners and customers of an important change to the Ichiro Shears product catalogue.

The Ichiro S-Series — comprising the S-50, S-55, S-57, S-60, S-65, S-T, and S-T30 — will be discontinued from the product catalogue by the end of December 2025.

A Decade of Service

The S-Series was introduced in 2013 as a mid-range VG10 professional line, and over the twelve years since its launch it has become a cornerstone of the Ichiro Shears range. It has been carried by distribution partners across multiple continents and trusted by salon professionals who value the consistency and craftsmanship of the line. We are genuinely proud of what the S-Series has represented.

Among the models, the S-57 and S-T30 — both added in 2023 — have built particularly strong followings in a short time. We acknowledge the enthusiasm with which they were received and thank those customers who embraced them so readily.

Why Now

The S-Series retirement makes way for the new Ichiro Professional line, which represents a significant step forward in the evolution of the Ichiro brand. Full details of the new range will be announced in due course.

Remaining Stock

Existing S-Series inventory remains available through authorised Scissor Lab distributors while supplies last. Partners wishing to place a final order are encouraged to do so at their earliest convenience.

What Continues Unchanged

The Ichiro Apprentice (440C) is not affected by this change and remains in full production.
